J. Francisco Estévez

Degree in Sociology from the University of Alicante (1994) and Master’S Degree in Applied Economics (2004) from the Department of Applied Economics and Statistics of UNED (National University of Distance Education). He is currently a researcher in health psychology and a doctoral student in psychology at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), with a thesis on bullying, emotional adjustment and suicidal ideation in adolescence. He is also an Associate Lecturer of Sociology at the University of Alicante (UA), where he teaches Data Analysis, Social Research Techniques and Research Methods and Techniques.

He has participated as a data analyst in research projects since 1995, and as an external expert in Gender Statistics and the measurement of inequality for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Guatemala, and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Mexico. He has been a lecturer of Social Statistics and Methods at research centres such as Colmex (Colegio de México, A.C.) and at universities such as the Metropolitan Autonomous University, México. He has written and participated in different publications, including books and scientific articles in indexed magazines.
